School of Engineering

South Brittany University National Engineering School (ENSIBS)Between two campuses, Lorient and Vannes, our school welcomes around 900 students each year. ENSIBS teachers, researchers and industry guest lecturers value communication and the educational connection with their students; and the ENSIBS faculty is very attuned to business and corporate community needs.

ENSIBS (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Bretagne-Sud) is a public engineering school.

Our campus is divided between two locations, Lorient and Vannes.  Both campuses are situated near the breathtaking landscapes of the Atlantic coast of Brittany (west of France).

At ENSIBS we train agile, capable engineers. Teaching them cooperation, team management and project workflow, key skills for a modern engineer. We also train engineers in different domains of sciences and engineering sciences.

We also have a focus on research and development, growing our innovative capacity. Students can choose from the following specialties: industrial engineering 4.0, mechatronics, cybersecurity and civil engineering.

ENSIBS is one of 200 CTI accredited engineering schools in France. This accreditation allows not only the granting of French engineering degrees but also guarantees the quality of the curricula and the value of the diploma. We have also been granted the EUR-ACE European label, and we belong to the Polytech engineering schools network.

We offer programs in English for our international students to enable them to spend a semester in our school and get 30 ECTS.
